    Out the box comfort
I put almost 7 miles on these right out of the (Adidas) box. Others commented they didn’t get an original Adidas box, so I thought I’d comment that I did.It wasn’t my intention, and I’d never recommend, breaking in shoes on such an intense hike. I couldn’t find the shoes I originally intended ordered these last minute and I’m glad I did. We went around and through a couple of mountains, a pretty intense hike on varying terrain and not only were these comfortable but they have great grip and are very lightweight. I have a wide flat foot with bunions and I’m in no pain today. I don’t have any rubbing or blisters, no foot pain whatsoever. I even stepped in a small bit of running water and my foot stayed dry. I also got complimented on how cute they were, which in my opinion, hiking shoes just tend to be ugly, idk why. They don’t ever look stylish. I don’t typically leave reviews but felt that my experience might help someone who was looking. I’m really glad I found these.

I don’t think these are exclusive to women but they fit amazing even for a wide foot.
So I looked for an hour for the right price size 11 men’s ax4 and Amazon can be confusing because you can get all kinds of results for women when you’re trying to isolate men’s only and I started getting tired so sure enough I accidentally made a purchase found these for 40 bucks unbelievably and after ordering them realized they were for women and was really upset so since I only paid 40 bucks I decided I was going to keep them and resell them or give them to a friend if I could even find that woman with a size 11. So I get the package and I look at them and they are amazingly beautiful and I realize they look kind of big and I slipped my foot into them and sure enough they fit me like a glove so they are in fact a men’s size 11 or at least the ones I got were. They were quite short for an 11 they actually fit like a 10 and a half because I’m somewhat of a 10 and a half and even have to buy 11 and 1/2 with some makes and models but these ones fit so short I had to clip my big toenails to make them fit right and until I break them in I will have to wear thin socks. They fit great though and for a wide foot they do great and I have a pretty wide foot. The only thing I don’t like so far is I can’t seem to wear ankle socks because the heel cushion goes way too far up for a running shoe and I know this is more like a trail runner but this is definitely not a walking shoe and for a running shoe that higher Achilles cushion actually rubs on your Achilles and that friction will leave a burn in no time so you either have to wear them in slowly before you go on a long run or you’re going to have to wear longer socks and that’s straight up. Maybe the way your feet move might get a pass with this one but mine sure didn’t I wore them for a half a day on a Saturday just cruising around not even doing anything active and they burned my achilles pretty good but not to the point of actually burning skin off. Good thing the material is soft enough that the friction doesn’t get you hot but I would wear long socks for the first few times you wear them and maybe that Achilles cushion will bend to the contour of where your heel meets your Achilles. Hope this helps you make your decision but they are a great shoe they just are not for walking and if you do a lot of walking I would get a half a size big and by the blue pro foot memory foam insoles because they aren’t too thick and they add amazing cushion I pretty much use them in every pair of shoes and boots. In my opinion they could have done better with the insoles but this is like a sport shoe so you get ruggedness and firmness.

These Boots Carried Me Through Yellowstone
I bought these for our trip to Yellowstone—I needed something sturdy, comfortable, and supportive enough to stabilize my very, very flimsy ankles. I walked and hiked for hours and honestly never felt tired or weighed down.I can’t rave about these enough. Are you going hiking? Buy them. Is the terrain snowy, muddy, or wet? Buy them.

    Great hiking shoes!!!
bought this for a trip to Sedona and it didnt dissapoint me on the rocky sandy hikes! its comfortable, has great grip and even looks great! it was really impressive for the price i paid! Im size 6.5 and ordered 6.5 but it feels bigger than my feet.. I wouldnt size down because when i hike my feet tend to get swollen, so its fine that its a little bigger than my feet. m very happy with this purchase:).

    Not great for overpronation issues
I ordered these, along with another brand of shoe due to the unavailability of my “regular” shoe. I did my due diligence reading ample reviews for people dealing with overpronation. Due to surgery I need good support for one foot as well as ability to put my orthotics in. These shoes DO have ample room for my orthotics, even with the insole left in place, a hard to find feature. BUT: Bottom of shoe/sole is very hard, plastic type feel. Shoe is very ridged and not very forgiving/cushion. To me, it felt like I was walking with a board strapped to my feet. After a week, my feet are sore and really appreciated my regular shoes today. I do wish I would have returned them just based off the bottom of the shoe. Even with with the good tread, it is hard material and I cannot see that being great on rocky terrain. I will delegate them to be my back up barn shoes.

THESE SHOES ARE NOT AS ADVERTISED AND, IN MY CASE , A FALL COULD CREATE A VERY DANGEROUS OUTCOME.
i USUALLY ALWAYS BUY THIS BRAND FOR NON SKID BOTTOM. hOWEVER, I RECENTLY HAD SERIOUS CERVICAL SURGERY AWAITING ANOTHER LUMBAR SURGERY IN jANUARY. A FALL TO ME COULD BE VERY SERIOUS AND I FOUND THAT THEY ARE VERY SLIPPERY ON THE BOTTOM IN RAINY WEATHER — i SKID ACROSS THE PARKING LOT WALKING MY DOGS THE OTHER NIGHT IN LIGHT RAIN. FALSE ADVERTISING.

They’re Wide Width Shoes and I Love Them
These are, indeed, wide width shoes as is indicated on the tag which reads “Terrex Ax4 W” (W = wide). I don’t always wear wide width shoes but when it comes to a shoe that I’ll be hiking in, or standing and active in, for long periods of activity, I tend to choose wide width shoes because my feet swell. Having a wider width accounts for that expansion which leaves my feet plenty of room for comfort without the added discomfort of all-around pressure on my swollen feet. While they’re a bit roomier in the toe box due to the wide width (which I happen to like because again, my feet swell during activity), they still work for my narrow feet regardless because they’re lace up shoes that I can just cinch up to my liking anyway. Hikers are generally always a tad wider than casual shoes to account for these things, as well as heavier socks. These are light, love the color combo, are machine washable, breathable and have solid traction on the soles. They’re going to be perfect for hiking!

El zapato es de buen calidad, pero ofrecen el modelo que es tipo bota y te envían uno tipo choclo.

comfortable for long hikes and if you do not like the ankle lace up style for hiking this is one of the great options. sole is made by continental and has great grip. I have wide feet and these shoes are quite comfortable.

    Nice shoes

My wife had to buy another ones and left these as a spare, because there was a slight water penetration in heavy rain and they made her blisters! They are too tough and also too high.
