The unicorn of hiking shoes: cute, comfortable, supportive AND waterproof
I didn’t think it was possible to find a pair of cute, comfortable, AND waterproof hiking shoes but here we have them! I wore these to Iceland this summer for four days and they served me well – hiking around waterfalls, stepping through springs, walking on black sand beaches, etc. I felt like they were a great balance of providing support without needing the break in time that comes with many hiking boots. Obviously you can’t walk in deep water or they will get the inside wet but overall I can’t recommend these enough!

Shoes were comfortable and kept my feet dry on a wet Alaskan trip.
I purchased these shoes for a trip to Alaska. I didn’t “break them in” or anything.. just took them. They were comfortable, warm, and though I wasn’t in drenching rain, it was rainy and wet, they kept my feet dry. They are pretty light weight but the sole is stiffer than I prefer for my sports shoes. I have a regular width foot and don’t need anything narrow or wide… these might have been just a bit narrower than I usually wear, but even with moderately thick socks they were ok. Good find for not even trying them on.

Has some good qualities but wouldn’t wear on a hike/long walk or all day on your feet
I don’t hike, don’t wear athletic street shoes but I’m going on a 10 day 100+ mile walk in 3 months in the UK. I want a shoe that’s not expensive because I probably won’t wear it again, waterproof because it’s the UK, well cushioned, lightweight and not too stiff as well as enough room in the toe box for feet swelling but not a slopping fit. I wear a size 7.5, am medium width and will be wearing with 2 pairs of socks. This review is based solely on me trying on and walking around the house for about an hour. Based on all that criteria I am not getting the shoe. For me it fit perfectly but thinking ahead after a 10+ mile day I knew they’d feel tight; if I were only wearing 1 sock, they’d probably be just right. They are lightweight with a good amount of cushioning on the tongue and collar but I felt the sole cushioning was a little thin. I was impressed with the shoe but even if it were roomier I wouldn’t buy because I think my feet would hurt.

Excellent shoes for hiking. I bought these for a trip to Iceland because they were waterproof hiking shoes. They worked perfectly and kept my feet dry. After my trip, I washed them in the washing machine and they came out beautifully. Days later for my next trip, I wore them daily for another month. They were always comfortable in my feet never hurt. Amazing for shoes that I didn’t try on first!
