It’s soft, non-slip, and provides great support for all kinds of workouts — yoga, Pilates, or floor exercises. The TPE material feels durable and high quality, and it’s thick enough to be comfortable but still easy to roll up and carry. Love this matt more that the more expensive one that I had. I do hot yoga and I do not slip on it.When I got it, it didn’t seem very thick but I really like the way it feels under my hands and feet.I did not notice any smell, but I did roll it out for awhile to help flatten.

Cool color but you slip in hot yoga
This is one of the least grippy mats I have used. I have to use a towel in hot yoga. I had an expensive no-slip mat that I liked much better, but when that one was destroyed in a Hurricane I bought a cheaper one ($30 – $40). I would like to have a really nice mat again that doesn’t require a towel for hot yoga.
