More comfortable to walk in and much better fit
The Hoka Arahi 8’s are a much better fit than the 7’s. There is more room in the toe width, the support is still good, the material on top of shoe is much softer and much more comfortable and the most important it allows your foot to bend toe to heel unlike the 7’s where your foot just plopped down on floor no toe to heel bend or roll. Overall much better fit and more comfortable shoe.

These are the most comfortable walking shoes I have ever owned. And I walk A LOT!! Yes, they are expensive but well worth the price.

These are the best shoes for anything wrong with your feet, plenty of cushion, plenty of toe room, great for exercise, walking, just plain foot comfort. Non skid tread, this is my third pair. When I get a new pair, the last pair is moved to the garage for wearing outdoors. I always wear my Hokas when treading and exercising, walking, just wearing around the house. My feet have 85 years on them and Hokas are the best shoes for anything you want or need to do. I do wish they would come out with a light blue color. I have the white and just love them.

Inaccurate material color
I absolutely love Hokas and the Arahi provides the support plus comfort I need for plantar fasciitis. The fit is perfect, like a glove. The price was $150, which was average for Hoka. They’re just gonna be an expensive shoe no matter what. Sadly, I had to return these because the color of the material did not match the picture. My shoes came with completely black material instead of the gray/black material as shown. Very disappointed to return them, but I already have a pair of solid black Hokas. Would have liked to have what the picture shows. If I were to order them again I feel like I’d receive the same thing, because the description says black/white, which matches the color on the box and the label on the tongue of the shoe. However, it’s the picture that doesn’t show the shoes as having completely black material, even though that’s what I got. So I think they need to change their picture.

My Feet Welcomed HOKA comfort.
Once a HOKA owner is a forever HOKA owner! Well made, nice arch support, lightweight and strong. Like walking on a cloud. I am a three pair HOKA owner. My senior friends agree with me.
