Great shoe for my 84yo mother
Bought them for my 84 yo mother and she loved them! They are made well, good support, and she says that they feel very comfortable. I like that there is no ties so she can easily put them on herself. I also don’t worry about her tripping over untied shoe laces.

Great, but not perfect fit
I’m keeping this pair in size 10 2E (and thank you Amazon for offering competitive pricing).I read reviews on this shoe everywhere. I know that I am a women’s generous 10 wide foot. I can wear some men’s D width, but love men’s 2E. I first tried these shoes in a women’s 10.5 2E. They felt like a men’s “generous” 9.5 2E. I loved the fit even though it was a tad too long, but the shoes squeaked terribly, so I returned them. (Thank you Amazon Prime for making it easy to return prime items.)I then switched to Zappos, where I tried and returned about 12 pairs of shoes before returning to this style at Amazon. Unfortunately, the 10.5 2E had increased in price by $20 which is more than what I can afford. I discovered that the size 10 2E was affordable so I purchased this same style in that size. Fit is ok, I would prefer them to be a little more generous in sizing, but I can wear these comfortably with a thin sock, so I’m keeping them. Yay!Yay to me, for finally finding a pair of decent shoes that are well made in quality, even if fit is not as perfect as I would have liked (Generous 2E in a SL2 Last).I do recommend this shoe, and if you have Prime, order in several sizes and return the pair that you don’t want under the “Prime Free Returns”. I did not do that the first time, and regret buying only 1 size at a time.

Good shoes – my second purchase!
This shoe is one of the few built on the SL2 last which fits many of us better than the more widely used SL1. The shoe is comfortable and supportive with hook-and-loop closures. That’s really good for those of us with difficulty wearing tied shoes or just for the convenience of quick on and off. I’m happy this seller has continued to make thes available through Amazon.

Nice sneaker. Unforgivable packaging.
The first thing you see when your order arrives, is the packaging. Well inside, the box was all torn and sliced up. I am so upset with the box. I store my shoes in their box. But even if I didn’t, I deserve decent packaging. This demonstrates sloppiness in the specific area of Amazon. Absolutely nothing wrong with the outer plastic packaging.This one star is for this matter. If I didn’t need the shoe tomorrow, I would have them replaced. But unfortunately, I’m stuck.As far as the sneaker, although I haven’t worn them outside, they fit true to size. Be careful going up. I have been wearing New Balance sneakers since my podiatrist recommended them to me about 15 years ago. When the velcro ones came out, I jumped on it cuz one ofmy daughters told me they had become very popular with millenials. Whhaaaattt? My parent wore orthopedic shoes like these except they were white.🤣🤣🤣. I love the velcro because now my arthritic back doesn’t allow for lace ups.This sale was unbelievable. I jumped on it again.Update: These sneakers were very UNCOMFORTABLE. The velcro straps are MUCH shorter than the previous ones I had which made fastening on the foot horrible and painful. I suspect these are a knock offs. No impressions inside the shoes. Inside sole not as thick.If I didn’t throw the busted box away, I would have returned them. I got scammed. Don’t you.

Good quality, but hurt my feet
I’m not sure if this is just better for people with specific types of feet, but it hurt mine and I couldn’t keep it. The “tongue” of the shoe is a bit sturdy and hurts the upper area of my foot, and the support on the bottom feels a bit flat. Maybe I’m just too picky, idk. I bought this because a friend has it and it looks suuper cute. She’s on her 2nd pair and absolutely loves it–says it fits her perfectly and that it is super comfortable!I guess it might just be my feet’s format that’s weird.In either case, it’s a good quality shoe! The material is great, very sturdy and padded!

Shoes for foot drop
I have foot drop and have difficulty finding shoes that fit my foot brace. This style works perfectly and gives my toes room to “breathe”. I ordered 1/2 size up and removed the in-sole in the right shoe…that is the secret. Pure comfort!

Great shoe but I had to return.
Great shoe but I had to return. Shoe seems to run a bit small. Oddly enough, the heel seems loose. The leather is extremely stiff. I can see someone getting a few blisters breaking this shoe in. If you have foot neuropathy, this may not be the shoe for you as the sole is very thick and difficult to “feel” through.

This is my fourth pair of these shoes. I wear them almost every day until they fall apart. I just wish I could get the Velcro fastening ones in the U.K. still and don’t have to get them sent over from the USA. How about it, New Balance? My husband loves his too….
