    Like walking on a cloud
I use these shoes on trails. I walk on the flats and run up the hills. These shoes are perfect. While watching the Olympics I noticed some of the female runners ( Femke Bols ) for instance run with fuel cell new balance shoes. I did some research and the technology used sounded interesting. I read the reviews and thought I would give them a try. They do seem to spring you forward as you walk or run. They hug your feet and are very cushy. The toe box is not a roomy as my other new balance running shoes but it doesn’t seem to matter. Love the shoes and would definitely buy again. True to size, I wear 51/2 M.

    Comfortable, Wateproof Trail Shoe
Very comfortable, love the cushioning. I normally take an 8 or 8 Wide in NB sneakers and the 8 Wide fit perfect and as expected. Waterproofing works excellent after 3 months. I’ve walked through water a few inches deep and my feet stayed completely dry. I’m overweight and the cushioning and support has held up well. I’ve had issues with plantar fasciitis in the past and these have kept my feet in good shape thus far. Function is 5 star but gave them a 4 because they really could be much better looking. Not thrilled with the style.

    Best Sneakers Ever
These are beyond comfortable. They provide so much overall support. My foot pain has mostly disappeared. They feel like a massage when I use them with my compression socks. They also have amazing grip.

Grip not as good as other New Balance Shoes. Toe box not as wide as expected.
One reason I bought these was for the advertised grip in wet conditions. I have found these shoes to be slippery on multiple occasions. This is disappointing, as I intended these to be my hiking shoes. My regular New Balance with all terrain soles, which have been my favorite type to buy for decades, have never slipped in wet conditions with any pair I have ever owned. The toe box on these shoes is not as wide as I am used to with New Balance. This is a problem, since I had toe surgery a year ago and really need the wider toe box to help prevent a recurrence of the condition. I am working on stretching out the toe box and will probably be able to get that where it needs to be with a little more time. Otherwise, these shoes met my expectations. The FuelCell midsole is comfortable and has a springy feel to it. The waterproofing seems to be good. The arch support is good, as with other New Balance shoes I have owned. I think these shoes are sturdy and will last a long time. I will probably wear them for winter shoes when it isn’t wet out, as they tend to be pretty warm and will probably be too hot in Summer. I’m glad I bought these when they were half off, or I would be very disappointed.

Nice shoe but not for me
I found it very uncomfortable. I wear a 9W in another New Balance shoe and these were too small, I would recommend to size up. Also there is a hard plastic bit around the heel for support? but it just hits my achilles tendon wrong and hurts just to have the shoe on.

    Super cool
Comfortable shoe, fits as expected in usual size. I love that the colors allow you to wear them with multiple tones. Good with cream, gray, and white. I get compliments every time I wear them and even my 15 year old daughter seemed impressed.

    Not for TRUE wide feet
The wides are not for true wide feet (people with a wide toe box). They are for chubby feet, with extra girth around the arch, not the toes. My pinky toes are still smashed against the side of the shoe.

    Great shoe for the price
Comfortable right out of the box. Got these for a flash deal ($50) and money well spent. Wearing on repeat. Waterproof and good traction. They look good too. Satisfied with this purchase.
