    Great Boost for Everyday Workouts
These adjustable ankle weights are awesome and super easy to use. I tried them on a walk around my neighborhood and later during some leg lifts at home, and I could really feel the extra burn without being uncomfortable. I love that you can adjust the weight depending on your workout, which makes them really versatile. They stay secure, feel well made, and are perfect for adding a little extra challenge to simple workouts. Totally happy with this purchase!

    Good Weights but….
I was looking for a heavier ankle weight for my workouts, and these are good. But the velcro straps are a bit of a challenge to negotiate – they of course are heavy duty velcro, which they need to be. But, they are long and they are very very sticky – they stick to each other and to the cloth on the weights and to my socks and to my rug, so it is definitely a workout just putting them on. I wish they could design the straps better. But once they are on, they are solidly attached and work very well for my workout.

  4. What I think

    Simple to use.
Perfect for rehab exercises. Has mini bags for weights which are easy to adjust. Velcro is super strong. Had to cut some of the strap which made it easier to apply. Good value for the money.

    Love these weights.
Recovering from knee replacement surgery and they are a great help with the strength exercises. You can add the weight has needed. Great.

    Works great!
I love the easy set up and it’s comfortable! Easy to move the weight packs around for stability. Love the color!Use them to get the leg strength up and for a more powerful kicks. Great with basic kicks. Just be careful with your hips and knees.

    Ankle weights
It’s a well made ankle weight. It’s easy to adjust the weight from 2-10 lbs

The velcro strapping setup is too complicated and takes too much time to get ready.
UPDATE – Today (1-2-2024), I figured out how to use the two straps on the news set of ankle weights so they’d work. Now, I think one strap is much easier to use. It took me longer with more difficulty to use the two straps properly, even after I taught myself how to use them the right way.Since the old ankle weight set’s single straps wore out, I’ve had time to think about the two choices (one strap vs two). I used the first set of weights with one strap for more than 20 years, and I should have bought a new set with one strap. Still, at the time, I didn’t know one strap was faster and easier to use than two, and at 78.4, I doubt I’ll be around in twenty years to turn 98.4, and find out which product lasts longer. My recommendation: get an ankle weight set with one strap. And I’m not going to throw the old set out yet. I’ll keep trying the new, double strap set for a while to see if I get used to it and can speed up the time it takes to strap them on each ankle before I make up my mind.ORIGINAL REVIEW (a week old) starts here:The reason I bought this weight set is because the velcro on my old set wore out and stopped sticking. The old set had one long strap that took no learning curve to figure out when it was new.I thought this new set with two straps might work better and last longer. Now I’m thinking I made a poor choice. The first time I used this set a few minutes ago, I had to stop my exercise routine and get needle nosed pliers from the garage to pull the velcro loose. Then after wasting time to figure out how the straps were supposed to work, and not wanting to waste more time, I twisted the straps at the base, so I could easily attach them to the other side of the velcro, in a similar method that my first set of ankle weights used with one strap. That did not work. While exercising, this set was too loose and slid down to my knees. I cannot recommend this product unless you are already familiar with it and know how the straps are supposed to work. That means if I keep this set, I have to figure out how the velcro strapping was designed to be used so it works.I’m a firm believer in making stuff easy and this set failed my easy test. I do not recommend this product for that reason for someone who hasn’t used this brand before.

The fabric and construction are substantially done. Seems like heavy black canvass. They will work well and last long. The one pound weights are packaged lead shot, I assume, and fit into strong fabric slots around the ankle bands of the same strong fabric construction. You can easily select what weight you want to work with by removing or adding the packaged weights. For an old guy like me, I’ve used weights most of my life, these are the best strap-on weights I’ve ever bought. You younger guys are very fortunate for the equipment now available. I began weight lifting using rock slabs and the family heavy duty encyclopedia/dictionary set. In those days I was really into heavy literature.

  10. Good Day

They are perfect. Easy to adjust the straps and weights. My husband uses it to throw punches, and it doesn’t slide off his arm. I might have to find weights that are heavier, 10lbs each arm doesn’t seem to be a challenge for him -.- My kids like them too. I bought these to help me since I hurt my leg. I need to build muscle again.

  11. Linda Clement

Since I’m a woman and on the smaller side, I found these leg weights difficult to use. They did not stay firmly around my ankles. I could not tighten them to walk without them moving around. The quality is good.

  12. Bepsi

I bought these to use while doing leg lifts. I purchased the 12lb (6lb each). I’m a small woman and I took one of the weight packets out and they still fit around my ankles. If I wanted to take more than one weight packet out they would be too big for my ankles but I didn’t have any intention of taking more than one out so it works for me. They definitely can’t be used around my wrists as mine are too small. The velcro is great quality and the strap is extra long. They are big and bulky but that was expected with the weight I purchased. Overall I’m quite happy with them.

This works very well for an impinged hip.
