Well-made and adjustable, but start slowly and allow time to air out
I’ve been wanting to try a weighted vest like this for everyday movement around the house, and overall, this one is very well made and thoughtfully designed. It fits comfortably and feels secure, and I really like that additional weight can be added gradually as you get used to it.One thing to note right away is that there was a strong chemical odor when I first opened it. I let it air out and only used it in a well-ventilated space at first, which helped, but it’s something to be aware of.The included instructions recommend easing into use if you’re new to weighted vests, which I’m glad I followed. Even so, I realized pretty quickly that I needed to start with much shorter sessions than I expected. I also noticed that wearing proper, supportive shoes makes a difference, especially for comfort and stability.Overall, this is a solid, well-constructed vest with good adjustability, but it’s important to take the guidance seriously: start slow, pay attention to comfort, and allow time for the materials to air out before extended use.

Adjustable and easy to use
When I decided to review this, I didn’t realize just how heavy it would be! I’m going to start slow and work my way up to adding all the weight. It’s heavy!I love that the weights can be added, or in my case taken away. It can also be adjusted. I have a very small waist but my husband is much larger and we can both wear the vest just fine.Well made.

This is a nice quality vest but it came defective
When I received the box (undamaged) I could hear what sounded like pellets rustling around in the box. When I opened it there was a cascade of black material that resembles a coarse sand that covered my counter and kitchen floor. The weight sacks were fine but I found a seam that had come apart on the vest where the weighting is sewn in. So one side of the vest strap has weight and the other does not. Not to mention the 45 minutes it took to clean up the mess. This does also come with a handy pouch to hold phone and keys. Looks like poor quality control. Disappointed. The first photo is of the black filler. The second shows the blue tape I put on the seam that came apart and the third is the seam itself with filler coming out.
