All in all this is a very sturdy board and very well made. It’s challenging but fun and is an excellent way to work on your balance and core stability.

This was the most fun Christmas gift! My 8 year old grandson lived it. The whole family young and old lol had a blast. Highly recommended

Simple Little Balance Board, But Great Fun! 🏄‍♀️
This is a simple little wooden balance board toy, but I’ve had a great deal of fun with it. I’d think of it as more of a more elaborate “executive desk toy” such as a Newton’s cradle or a trashcan basketball hoop, than a toy for all ages. But still a very fun item! What makes it awesome is that you can put it underneath a stand-up desk, and use it while standing and writing, coding, or to keep yourself awake during those longer Zoom meetings. The appeal is that it allows you to “play” while at work, or doing something otherwise productive.The construction seems good enough for an entry level offering for this sort of item. It’s a very simple design of modest materials, but the quality is there in the areas it really counts. You receive a closed a plastic tube covered with felt, and a wooden deck covered with grip tape, with two wooden pieces that function as stops that you screw to the bottom. The deck seems to be well made and of good quality. The aluminum screws to fix the stops to the board are large and very easy to turn. There are two different adjustments you can make to the board, although I found that the board worked best with the stops set closest to the ends.If I had to mention any negatives or concerns, my first would be that I’m not terribly fond of the “Alien” graphic on the grip tape. You could switch it out with a solid colored grip tape, but I’m not sure its worth it to do so. The second would be that I have cats, and I worry about their tails being caught underneath while I’m using it. But that doesn’t reflect in any way on the quality of product. For safety’s sake I just make sure my cats are easily visible, or in a different room, when I use the balance board.In sum, this is a fun little item that could help cheer you up during your work day. I’d recommend it for adventurous folks willing to take a chance on something new and different.Edit: I actually ended up removing the grip tape entirely, and like it so much better without. It’s so much easier to use this way, and I needn’t worry about my socks getting destroyed. Additionally, the bare wooden surface looks more professional and suited to a home office setting than before. I don’t plan on replacing the grip tape, just leaving it as is. (If you plan on doing the same, definitely use gloves and lift carefully and slowly.)
