Lightweight, quiet, and not plastic! I’m a 5’6″ grandma and former nurse who wanted some way to get good weight-bearing exercise in my home. This jump rope is working well! I jump on a camping pad/yoga mat to protect my joints and after a week, still no pain My 6-year-old granddaughter wanted to try it today so I tied a knot at each end to shorten it for her. That worked perfectly too. Thank you for a great product.

Decent – but breaks near handle.
I’ve purchased two of these leather ropes. 9′ length. Overall, they work well.Positives:I’m a novice boxer and I do 30 minute warm-up jump rope sessions before workouts, I can jump non-stop with this rope for the whole 30 minutes.I can jump on nearly all surfaces with little to no issues or affect of the leather durability.Works for double unders, crisscrossing without tangling, and all tricks I’ve tried.Negative factors:Takes a little bit to break in, if it’s not hung on a wall (if you keep it in a gym bag) it tends to get pretty stiff and holds the shape it was stored in.One of my ropes, and two of the same rope I’ve used at gyms, have broken right near the handle. I’m not sure why this is, but that’s three total ropes I’ve seen where the leather wears out and breaks near the handle.

It’s a jump rope
For the price it’s fine. But it is a bit on the brittle side and also a little thin and light by comparison to my previous rope. Bearing are fine and so are the handles. I’m not too good with a speed rope and tend to do better with the old fashioned style.

Cool old school jump rope
This jump rope looks cool. It is definitely made well and I can see it lasting for a long time. As I am new to jump ropes for exercise I found the leather cord to be too light for me. It made it hard to keep my rhythm at times. I ended up buying a different one with a 1/4lb cord that I like much better.

Great for Tall people
I am 6’4” and needed a jump rope for cardio. This one works extremely well and the leather is thick enough to last for a long time. Because it is leather, the more use you go through, the better it will be. It came very rigid but was still usable. Overtime it has loosened up and has been a lot easier to use. Several people have complimented it as a high-dollar jump rope. Very satisfied.

Pedí la cuerda de 9.5 pies de largo y se ajusta perfecto a mi estatura (mido 1.80). Aún falta probar la calidad del cuero y los baleros. Es más delgada que otras cuerdas de cuero, pero de momento parece no afectar el funcionamiento.
