I really like this buckwheat filled meditation cushion. The height of this cushion is very good. This is different from my other buckwheat meditation cushion in that is has a crescent shape. This shape (instead of a circular cushion shape) means that if you use the seated Siddhasana meditation pose where your heels come into the center of your pelvis, the crescent shape allows you to pull your heels in close while still getting maximum support from the cushion for the reminder of pelvis and your sit bones. This is not always possible with other meditation cushions. When comparing this crescent shape to my circular buckwheat filled cushion, I do get more support for my pelvis via my sit bones. Further, if one needs head support in restorative yoga or yin yoga, this crescent cushion could provide a snug gripe around your neck and head if used to support your head as a pillow. For long held prone (face down positions) in Yin yoga, the crescent shape means you will have support for your forehead and upper face when lying face down, but your mouth and nostrils could lie in the empty space created by the crescent shape for easier breathing. If you haven’t used a buckwheat or other grain filled cushion before, they are heavier than pillows filled with Styrofoam beads. They are more durable that Styrofoam beads, and they provide firmer support and a more steady base. I really like my buckwheat filled cushion. However, if you live in a very humid climate or are prone to lots of sweating, a cushion filled with non-organic material but be better suited to your needs. This cushion unlike my other buckwheat cushion does not have an inner foam layer on top of the buckwheat sack. The foam can be a barrier to sweat and it adds a soft layer. Buckwheat give a firmer and more tactical contact surface with your body. This cushion has a nice soft fabric cover that protects and inner white cotton sack filled with buckwheat. The outer cover zips on and can be removed for washing. This comes shipped in its own air tight vacuum tight bag, that is then wrapped in a shipping bag inside a shipping box.

Comfortable, Beautiful, Well-Made Meditation Cushion
I meditate regularly, usually seated on a chair, and I often start feeling discomfort after about 20 minutes. I needed a more supportive alternative for longer sessions, so I chose this meditation cushion to help with posture and chronic joint pain. It has accomplished exactly what I hoped it would. I use it on the floor in a cross-legged position, and the cushion does a great job relieving pressure in my lower back. The fill is firm yet comfortable, and it helps me sit upright without strain, and the height lifts my hips enough to reduce pressure on my knees. The shape also minimizes discomfort around sensitive areas, which makes settling in much easier.The cover of the cushion is a black velvet fabric with a beautiful gold lotus/mandala on the front (seated area). The cushion feels soft and high quality, and I appreciate that it’s removable for easy cleaning. The built-in handle is a thoughtful touch and makes it simple to move or store. It is a little bulky and would therefore be better suited for the floor or wider seating surfaces. It felt a bit firm at first, but softened slightly with use —just enough to stay supportive while still helping me maintain good alignment.Overall, this is a well-made, beautifully designed, and comfortable meditation cushion that has made my seated sessions noticeably less painful and far more grounded. It would be a great option for anyone looking for stable, long-lasting support during longer seated practices.

Outstanding quality, comfort and look
There’s nothing not to love about this meditation cushion.- black velvet color with gold embroidery looks stylish- very very comfortable while also being firm to provide support- when sitting on it, puts my torso in the perfect position to lean forward a bit and place my knees on the floor- excellent size for a minimalist aesthetic- provides support for my sit bones and spine alignment- EXCELLENT qualityIt’s a beautiful meditation pillow and would be a wonderful gift to give to anyone.

How this cushion changed my practice
Got this cushion and it has made an incredible change for me in my ability to meditate. I struggled for so long with my posture during meditation, but the way the crescent shape cradles my hips and keeps my spine perfectly aligned, keeps me focused, not sure how, but I can sit so much longer now!I love that the buckwheat filling feels natural, it conforms very naturally to my body while still giving me comfortable firm support. It also can be used for more than meditation, I can use it as a comfy floor cushion for stretching or just chilling, because… it is that comfortable.The best part is about this cushion is how it takes the strain off my knees and ankles because of its height, THAT I didn’t expect, but it allows me to actually enjoy being present. Quality feels incredibly well-made, beautifully crafted, and appears to be built to last through years of daily use. Also, the company offers a 1-year warranty when registering online.The cards included with the cushion read very genuine and grateful, and somehow made me feel grateful too. The company sends the product in a vacuum sealed bag to keep the shape and to protect the cushion, very thoughtful, so be sure not to open it with sharp objects.I honestly didn’t know I needed this cushion in my life, now, I’m glad I have it, love it and would strongly recommend it for anyone wanting to improve their meditation practice. Nice material. You can remove the zippered cover to wash it. The inside part also has a zipper so you can remove or add to the filling. Overall, it seems like a good quality product. Expensive but good.

Just recieved & they are so beautiful. They look so expensive but was a reasonable price for meditation cushions. Back velvet and a beautiful gold sparkly lotus.The use I have for them is I eat japanese style / floor and they are a perfect height for me , crossed legs & so comfortable. I will multitask with them as a meditation cushion also. Best quality medication cushion I have ordered to date. It has the right level of firmness without affecting my posture or leaving my head feeling like it was not supported.It was higher than I expected but it does contour a little plus you can unzip the cover and wash it in the machine on a low temperature, but I would air dry it only.Surprisingly more expensive than I thought a cushion like this would be but it does provide reinforced support for my meditation, and I am using it during some home exercise routines.

If you’ve ever had your legs or back start to ache during a longer session, you know how crucial proper support is. The buckwheat filling in this bolster is fantastic—it molds perfectly to your shape, offering really firm and comfortable support, which helps maintain a stable posture. The crescent shape is great because it tucks right under your thighs, and it’s a generous size, so you don’t feel like you’re perched on a tiny stool.
