Over the years, I’ve tried many collagen supplements, including different ones from NeoCell and other brands.The serving size is 3 caplets, providing a total of 3 grams of collagen, so each caplet contains 1 gram. This is a typical amount of collagen per caplet or tablet, similar to what most other brands provide. An effective daily dose of collagen usually ranges from about 2.5 to 15 grams, so this amount is on the lower side, though you can take more or fewer caplets to match your needs.The caplets are quite small and easy to swallow. They don’t have any noticeable smell or taste, and I haven’t experienced any discomfort or digestive issues while taking them. I usually take them 40–60 minutes before eating. The label mentions that this formula uses multi collagen bio-peptides that are enzymatically simplified for better absorption, so it should also be effective when taken with food.This collagen includes ten different types derived from four sources. I do wish the label listed the specific amounts or proportions of each source and collagen type. I looked into the listed collagen sources separately to get a clearer idea of what this supplement provides.Grass-fed bovine collagen consists mostly of Type I (about 85–90%) and Type III (10–15%), which support skin elasticity, hair, nails, bones, and overall connective tissue strength. I have been taking a different form of NeoCell Collagen for over a year now, and it has made a huge difference for me. My skin, hair, and nails are all healthier and stronger. My hair and nails grow fast and look healthy. I jumped over from my other NeoCell Collagen to this type without any problems. I have not noticed a difference between taking the two versions, but sometimes it takes time with supplements to notice.I like that these absorb fast and are from grass fed and pasture raised cows. The ingredients seem to be high quality. One serving size is 3 capsules, which is great. Most Collagen’s that I have tried are 3-5 capsules per serving. The capsules are easy for me to swallow and do not have any taste. I love that you receive a rather large quantity too. At taking the suggested 3 per day, this is a 120 day supply. That makes it a great value for the price. These seem to be effective and a great option in all areas. I would recommend them.

Great price and quality compared to GNC
The first thing to understand is that collagen is not an area where you want to cut corners (for several reasons). NeoCell is top-quality, and you can’t go wrong with their products. This particular one encompasses all the essential types: I, II, III, IV, VIII, X, XII, and XXII in a single formulation. Some of these types may not be essential, in my opinion (most people obtain sufficient amounts of around half of these types through their diet, but including them doesn’t cause any harm). Additionally, the capsules are coated for easy swallowing.Great value if you look at the price at GNC – full 360 caps. The taste is non existant really — no “sticking in the throat issues”.
