Good Price, Good taste, Good Stuff!
I really didn’t know what to expect. I’ve tried lots of protein powders over the years. I actually like this one quite a lot. It has NO cholesterol in it, which if you didn’t know is what makes you gain puffy fat from many protein powders. The taste is decent and it mixes very well. The price isn’t bad either as it’s a two pound container. My only gripe, if it’s even a gripe, is the paper seal under the lid does not come cleanly off the jug. I know, it’s minor but annoying just the same. Good stuff I will buying again for sure!

Would really love it if they made this available to ship to my location again. It tastes good. It probably only causes a little bloating or wind, as do all protein powders I guess.The size is okay but would be even better in bulk. Good ingredients although could be even better if they reverted to the superfoods + protein mix I remember they used to have.

Excellent Natural Protein
I suggest ignoring the negative reviews but also understanding what you are buying. If you eat super clean, you understand that most natural supplements are not going to taste like a bowl of ice cream or be silky smooth like a truffle. There is sometimes compromise to be made. That said, I am impressed with how good this powder actually is, especially blended with soy milk and a banana or other fruit. I also add almond, flax, hemp etc. and make some really delicious shakes. The powder has a very slight vegetal taste – go figure. It’s also got a little texture to it, which I actually enjoy. The vanilla flavoring is very natural tasting vs. the traditional extract flavor in most powders. I am just so tired of unrecognizable ingredients, thickeners, fillers, and super high cholesterol shakes. Even the “good” brands aren’t that great when you read the labels… and many are up to $60-75 for 5 lbs. So yeah, this is what I will be using for the foreseeable future.

Good Quality, clean, maybe too clean
So I intermittently use this product not because it is much wrong with it, the flavor is good for the most part, its very clean ingredients, and considering having plant proteins more often than the animal is such a benefit. This may be my own opinion but I don’t like the texture and flavor and I can’t tell if it’s the pea protein or if my protein isn’t blending well with just water or almond milk because I get this gritty taste, but when I do drink it it’s not intolerable, in fact, I still drink it, I just maybe make a face when I try to chug it lol. Otherwise, it’s pretty good nonetheless. $35 isn’t bad for the price either, the serving size is two scoops for those that may wonder.

taste change
I was using this product vanilla flavor for a long time but now they have changed the taste in the gray packing. I was confident that they only changed the packing but I was wrong. They have changed the taste which hurts my stomach. Both the smell and the taste of the new vanilla formula are like medicine and I have to find a different product now. I bought two one for me and one for my family – when they changed the packing and I am disappointed. wasted milk and berries in making today’s smoothie using this 😢UPDATE 2025- I eventually got used to the new taste and smell. I still taste the difference but I compared the ingridients of the original and the new and I kind of like what they have done. It was a shock at first because they did not advertise or notify the new formula and to expect the new taste and smell on the new packaging but it tastes much better with raspeberries than my usual strawberries in a regular milk smoothie.
