This is well built and my kids absolutely love it. It didn’t take them long at all to get the hang of it. Fair warning – always wear socks or shoes. If you lose your balance with bare feet, the rough surface can scrape your skin.

This is fun for the whole family.I bought this as a balance board for my 6-year-old for Christmas, but the whole family has been playing with it. It allows for different challenges for everyone – from the simple balancing in the center to more complicated exercises that you can perform with the board (there’s a sheet that tells you what to do).The board is about an inch thick and has a bit of flexibility (noted only with adults) with “stoppers” on either side to keep you from completely slipping off of the roller. The top of the board is a gritty, non-stick surface so that you can maintain your grip in shoes, socks, or bare feet.There is felt-like material around the roller to keep the board from moving too quickly to the left or right, but not limit the mobility that makes it great for balancing.For younger users, I would recommend watching them play until you are sure that they are capable of playing safely. They should also play on carpet in an open area in case they lose their balance and fall down.

This is been an excellent purchase. I bought this for my 8 year old with ADHD to try and stop the parkour over the furniture and it has so far paid for itself. It only took her a couple of hours to get the hang of it and she goes straight for it over other balancing/movement equipment we have. Its also great to help to calm down before bed as it doesn’t raise the blood pressure at all for her. It has a great grip surface and the board has a stop on it so it can’t run off the roller. The roller doesn’t go off on it’s own angle which is fabulous. We have it on a woven mat, not carpet or a yoga foam if that helps.
